My partner and I were approached to develop the brand, packaging and UI design for a new line of gut-friendly probiotic bites. This gave us the rare opportunity to truly building a brand from end-to-end.

We created a look-and-feel that's contemporary and approachable while delivering on appetite appeal.

The challenge
The better-for-you snack category is oversaturated with choices. How can we build a unique brand personality from scratch?

The founder of Malua, Carolina Poli, wanted to introduce the superfood of green banana from her native Brazil to the United States. With the goal of creating a design that promotes a healthy mindset, we set out to craft a unique visual identity for this new brand.

The process
Starting from a mood board we created several iterations of what the malua branding and packaging could look like.
Better on-the-glow snacks to support your microbiome and immune system.
After the branding and packaging design were created we moved on to developing Malua's website. We worked closely with Malua's founder to create the content, wireframe, design and ship We also worked to find a developer that would be able to execute the design using the Shopify platform.
