Don't Shoot PDX is an arts and education organization that promotes social justice in Portland, Oregon. As part of their campaign to reclaim a community center that fell out of residents hands, Don't Shoot PDX partnered with SGK to create a series of posters for their movement. I was happy to contribute a few designs to their campaign. I sought to create dynamic, eye catching interpretations of common typography in protest.

Dixie/Dollar General Holidays Illustrations 2021

Created a winter holiday limited-edition set of illustrations for Dixie To Go that is made specifically for Dollar General stores. After identifying 3 national holiday design trends that served as creative pathways I created a set of illustrations that were applied to Dixie To Go plates and bowls.

Severe print limitations (only 4 spot colors, poor registration, limited ability to tint colors) were one of the biggest challenges with this project. I worked directly with the client and printer to make sure the illustrations maintained their integrity.
